Who we are:
We are teachers of the International School of Budapest
Welcome to our website, Híd a kultúrák között- Bridging the Gap. A project funded in part by the European Commission Erasmus + Project.
The proposed project has been created with the goal of integrating the Hungarian and British National curriculum's in such a way that they are seamlessly cohesive. This goal is an integral part of the realization of our bilingual school; it is essential to the style and manner in which we serve our students and parents and also the wider community around us in Budapest.
Over the next year you will see what we are up to and how we have taken what we have learned and applied it both in our classrooms and to the broader community of Budapest.
Our teacher have the opportunity to engage with other like-minded teachers from throughout Europe to discuss the issues important throughout our schools curriculum's. To talk about new ideas and discover best practices

Englishness @ISB
In September we had the privilege to have two of our own talk about their experiences with Englishness. Mr. Mark Davies read from the book from the book "Watching the English" written by Kate Fox. A book full of anecdotes about how the English are to behave and indeed how they speak.
